Amigos Presidio Heights preschool offers a nurturing, fun, and developmentally appropriate Spanish immersion environment for children ages 2-5 years old. We are a year-round, full-day art-based preschool offering full and part-time schedules.

Maestra Julie
Julie is a National Board Certified teacher specializing in Early Literacy -Preschool- 5th grade. Julie holds a BA from UCSB in Spanish Literature and a Bilingual Multi-Subject Credential from SFSU. She holds a Preschool Director’s Permit from the state of California. She has 15 years of experience teaching Preschool, Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and First grade in Spanish Immersion classrooms.
Julie and her husband’s four children have all been raised to be fully bilingual in Spanish and English. While teaching Transitional Kindergarten Julie fell in love with teaching early education. She envisioned a school setting where children look forward to a life long joy of learning.
Maestra Miriam
Maestra Miriam is a dedicated Spanish immersion educator with 12 years of experience in bilingual preschool and early childhood classrooms. She holds CPR certification and brings her calm, nurturing spirit and playful approach to every interaction with children. Miriam comes from a family of educators—her mother taught elementary school in Mexico—and she deeply understands the value of bilingual development. She raises four bilingual children of her own and has instilled in them a love of both Spanish and English languages and cultures. Her daughter is currently studying to become a teacher, continuing the family tradition. Miriam's warm presence and patient teaching style create a safe, joyful learning environment where children thrive.
Maestra Nineth
Maestra Nineth is a passionate early childhood educator with 12 years of experience working with young children in Spanish immersion and bilingual preschool settings. She holds an early education degree from Guatemala and is CPR certified. Nineth brings authentic Spanish language and cultural knowledge to our classroom, creating joyful learning experiences through singing, dancing, and play-based activities. Her native fluency in Spanish combined with her deep love for working with preschool-aged children makes her an invaluable member of the Amigos De Presidio Heights team. Nineth believes that children learn best when they're having fun, and she brings that philosophy to life every day in the classroom.
