We enroll children between the ages of 2 and 5 years old.
What are the hours of the school?
School hours are 8-5:00 pm. The half-day program is until 12:00 PM.

What month does school start?
We are a year-round school.
Do you take children who are not potty-trained?
Yes, we have students in diapers. We believe that toilet training, like many developmental milestones, should be approached at a child’s own pace so that he or she can experience a sense of mastery. We do not require our applicants to master toileting prior to admission
Do you have an outdoor play area for the children?
We use the Presidio Heights Playgrounds as our large outdoor play area.
Do you have a policy regarding snacks?
Our aim is to broaden children's palates and provide a wide variety of foods during our morning and afternoon snack times. (Parents provide lunches).
What if my child does not speak Spanish?
Amigos de SF teaches Spanish in a fun, all-inclusive manner using puppets, songs, and dance. Teachers speak Spanish 100% of the time. If a child does not understand something, the teacher uses body language, visuals, exaggerated facial expressions, and expressive intonation to communicate their meaning. Additionally, teachers will use key phrases, books, and games to engage the child and draw them into the language. In preschool, it is common for students to speak English with their peers and to respond to their teacher in English, especially if they are not familiar with the language. As the year progresses, students naturally use more Spanish with peers and teachers.
Does the school fundraise?
No, we do not fundraise.
Does the school offer tuition assistance?
We accept subsidies through the "San Francisco Children Council, Marin Children Council, and San Mateo 4C's.
